Our History

"The Farrell Academy of Dance" was established in 1977, the vision of international professional dancer-choreographer Susan Farrell. Susan's express aim was to provide students with the highest quality training without sacrificing the enjoyment factor, a priority today as it was all those years ago.

Susan began her professional career at age 9 in the London production of "Snow White" at Her Majesty's Theatre, thus beginning a 20 year chapter that was to take her around the world working in variety and television with a host of superstar performers such as Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Robert Goulet and John Farnham plus feature spots in international productions of "Mame", "My Fair Lady" and "Jesus Christ Superstar" to name a few.

Carrying on "The Farrell Tradition" Susan has academy trained students working both here and overseas, including "The Moulin Rouge" in Paris and the top casinos of Las Vegas.

"Farrell's teaching faculty, apart from Susan, is Miss Gorgina Dalley, a Farrell trained, award winning, teacher-choreographer.
